Al menos 24 personas murieron tras las repentinas inundaciones provocadas por fuertes lluvias en el centro-sur de Texas, EE.UU., con violentas crecidas del río Guadalupe en Kerrville, recogen medio locales.
Entre los afectados se encuentran algunas niñas que asistían al campamento Camp Mystic, y unas 20 de ellas están desaparecidas, de acuerdo a la agencia AP. Equipos de rescate trabajan con botes en las zonas ribereñas y campamentos afectados por la corriente de agua.

Las autoridades informaron que, hasta el momento, han sido rescatadas 237 personas, 167 de ellas en helicóptero.
